• Welcome to Partyslava! (20.12.2011)
  Last year, around 100,000 people celebrated the New Year on the streets and squares of Bratislava, with about one-fifth of the revelers hailing from abroad. These celebrations have adopted the appropriate slogan “Welcome to Partyslava!” and are now on a par with the New Year festivities of any other major European city.

  Bratislava will become 'Partyslava' on New Year's Eve as top Slovak musical acts play live, and other entertainers and fireworks help residents and visitors celebrate the arrival of 2011.

  The Main Square is at the epicentre of the festivities, together with the neighbouring Hviezdoslav Square in front of the opera house and the embankment along the River Danube between Nový Most and Starý Most bridges.
